What is Bali & Blue?

Bali & Blue is an independent interiors brand, bringing together furniture, lighting, mirrors, and home pieces chosen for their texture, warmth, and timeless character.

Our collections blend rustic charm with Scandinavian, mid-century, and modern influences—creating pieces that feel timeless, natural, and effortlessly considered.

What makes your furniture different?

We focus on craftsmanship, character, and conscious production. Many of our pieces are handmade by skilled artisans, meaning no two items are ever identical. Each piece carries its own natural grain, texture, and subtle variations.

Unlike mass-produced furniture, we prioritise smaller production runs and made-to-order pieces to reduce waste and avoid unnecessary use of natural resources.

Sustainability & Materials

Is your wooden furniture sustainable?

We offer an extensive collection of Mango Wood furniture, sourced from India. For these collecytions, sustainability is considered from the very beginning of the process. Much of our wood is sourced from mango trees grown through rotational agroforestry. These trees absorb carbon throughout their lifecycle and are only harvested once they have completed their fruit-bearing years.

This means:

  • No deforestation
  • Reduced environmental impact
  • Long-lasting solid wood that retains stored carbon

By focusing on responsible sourcing and made-to-order production, we reduce waste and avoid overproduction.

What types of furniture do you offer?

We offer a wide range of furniture for every room, including:

Are your items handmade?

Many of our pieces are handcrafted by skilled artisans. Natural variations in colour, grain, and finish are to be expected and celebrated as part of their character.

Are items in stock or made to order?

We offer both. Some items are available for immediate dispatch, while others are made to order to support a more considered and sustainable approach.

What happens if a product is out of stock?

If an item is unavailable, you can register your email to be notified when it returns. In some cases, you may be able to place a back-order to secure the next production run.

Delivery

Where do you deliver?

We deliver across the UK. International delivery may be available on request—please contact us for a personalised quotation.

How long does delivery take?
  • UK mainland: typically 2–5 working days for smaller in-stock items and 10-14 days for larger fragile furniture and lighting.
  • Made-to-order items: approximately 12–16 weeks

This includes production and delivery timeframes. As each piece is individually made, timelines may occasionally vary, but we will keep you informed throughout.

How much does delivery cost?
  • Mainland UK: Free delivery
  • Highlands, Northern Ireland, islands and offshore locations: calculated at checkout
Will I receive tracking information?

Yes. Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details via email. Unless your order is due for delivery via one or two man service- in this case they will contact you directly to book in delivery.

What happens if I miss my delivery?

If delivery cannot be completed, our courier partners may apply a redelivery fee. This will be communicated before rearranging delivery.

Returns & Exchanges

What is your returns policy?

You may return eligible items within 14 days of delivery in accordance with UK consumer law.

Which items cannot be returned?

Made-to-order or customised items cannot be returned unless faulty or misdescribed.

Who pays for return shipping?

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

What condition must items be in?

Items must be unused and returned in their original condition and packaging.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, including American Express, as well as PayPal.

Do you offer finance options?

Flexible payment options will be available soon.

Samples & Product Details

Do you provide wood or fabric samples?

Mostly for our mango wood collections—samples are available free of charge. Please email us with your required sample finishes and we'll try and accomadate.

Pricing & VAT

Are your prices inclusive of VAT?

No. As a small, independent business, we are not currently VAT registered.

Operating online allows us to keep overheads low and pass those savings directly on—offering high-quality pieces at more accessible prices.

Trade & Interior Designers

Do you offer trade accounts?

Yes. We work with interior designers, developers, and trade professionals.

Discounts are available based on order value. Proof of trade is required. Please note, we are not VAT registered.

Compliance & Safety

Is your timber legally compliant?

Yes. All timber complies with European Union Timber Regulation (EUTR) standards for responsible sourcing.

Are upholstered products compliant with UK regulations?

Yes. All upholstered furniture meets UK Fire Resistant (UKFR) standards, including BS 5852 testing.

Product Characteristics

Why do items vary slightly?

As many of our pieces are handcrafted from natural materials, variations are part of their character. These may include differences in:

  • size and proportions
  • colour and finish
  • grain patterns and texture
  • natural markings within the wood

These are not considered faults, but a reflection of the materials and craftsmanship.

Assembly

Do your products require assembly?

Most items arrive fully assembled. Some may require minimal assembly, such as attaching legs or fittings.
