Please read these Terms carefully before using our website or placing an order. They explain your rights, our responsibilities, and the terms that apply when you shop with Bali & Blue.
Welcome to Bali & Blue. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, store, and services (collectively, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
References to “we”, “us” or “our” mean Bali & Blue, and “you” or “your” means the customer.
1. Important Consumer Rights
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

Before placing an order, you will receive clear information about:

- Your statutory rights, including the 14-day cancellation period
- Contact information for questions or complaints
Product Variations:
- Colours and finishes may vary due to screen settings
- Natural materials may vary in texture, tone, or grain
- Handmade items may have slight dimension variations (up to 4mm each way)
We reserve the right to update product details, correct errors, and limit quantities at any time. All orders are subject to availability.
4. Account Requirements
You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and all account activity.
You may not transfer, sell, or assign your account.
5. Orders and Acceptance
Placing an order is an offer to purchase. Orders are not confirmed until we send an order confirmation email.
Checking Orders:
You are responsible for reviewing your order carefully before submission. Any errors should be reported immediately.
Order Acceptance:
We reserve the right to accept or decline any order at our discretion, including for reasons such as product availability, pricing errors, or suspicious activity.
Pre-Dispatch Cancellation:
You may cancel your order at any time prior to dispatch for a full refund, including any applicable delivery charges. To cancel, you must contact us immediately. Once dispatched, cancellation rights are subject to statutory law and our Returns Policy.
All orders are subject to availability. If a product becomes unavailable after your order is placed, we will contact you and offer a refund or an alternative product.
6. Pricing and Payment
Prices:
- All prices are shown in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
- Prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. We do not charge VAT.
- Shipping, handling, customs, or import fees are additional.
- Prices are for guidance only until your order is confirmed.
Pricing Errors:
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time, including after an order is placed.
If a pricing error occurs, we will notify you and give you the option to confirm or cancel your order.
Promotions and Discounts:
Promotions, discounts, or voucher codes are subject to specific terms and may differ from advertised prices.
In case of conflict between promotion terms and these Terms, the promotion terms will prevail.
Payment:
Payments are processed through secure payment providers.
You guarantee that all payment details are accurate and that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
By placing an order, you authorise us to charge the full order amount, including shipping, handling, and applicable taxes.
Currency and International Orders:
If paying in a currency other than GBP, the exchange rate applied will be that of your payment provider at the time of payment.
Any additional fees charged by banks or card providers are your responsibility.
Customer Responsibility:
You agree to keep your payment and account information up to date, including email addresses, credit card numbers, and expiry dates, to ensure successful payment processing.
7. Delivery
Delivery Times
All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
Estimated delivery timeframes are as follows:
- Mainland UK: 1–5 working days
- Highlands and Northern Ireland: 2–7 working days
- Islands and Offshore locations: 2–7 working days
These timeframes apply to standard courier, one-man, and pallet deliveries unless otherwise stated.
Bali & Blue is not liable for delays caused by factors outside our control, including couriers, customs processing, transport disruptions, strikes, or force majeure events.
Delivery Costs
- Mainland UK: Free delivery
- Highlands and Northern Ireland: £25 per item
- Islands and Offshore locations: £30 per item
Delivery charges are calculated at checkout where applicable.
Delivery Service
Deliveries are made to the threshold of the property only (e.g. front door, building entrance, or kerbside).
Couriers are not permitted to enter your property or carry items inside. You are responsible for ensuring:
- Adequate access to the delivery location
- Items will fit through doors, hallways, staircases, and intended spaces
If you request that a courier enters your property, you do so at your own risk. Bali & Blue accepts no liability for any resulting damage.
Proof of Delivery
Deliveries may require a signature or photographic proof of delivery, at the courier’s discretion.
You are responsible for ensuring the delivery location is safe and secure.
Failed Deliveries & Redelivery Fees
If delivery cannot be completed due to:
- Customer absence
- Incorrect delivery details
- Access restrictions
A redelivery fee of £25 will apply. This must be paid before a further delivery attempt is made.
Where delivery is delayed due to the customer’s actions or failure to provide adequate access, we reserve the right to charge reasonable storage and additional delivery costs.
Damages and Missing Items
You should inspect your delivery immediately upon receipt.
- Any damage or missing items must be reported within 48 hours
- Photographic evidence is required to support all claims

Ownership and Risk
Ownership of goods remains with Bali & Blue until full payment is received.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery.
8. Returns and Cancellations
Statutory Rights (UK Law):
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receipt of returned goods.
Cancellation Before Dispatch:
You may cancel your order at any time before dispatch for a full refund.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel before dispatch.
Return Conditions:
- Products must be returned in original condition and packaging, unless faulty, damaged in transit, or misdescribed.
- Made-to-order, custom, or personalised products cannot be returned unless faulty or misdescribed.
- We may reject or reduce refunds if items show signs of use or damage.
Return Process:
- Contact returns@baliandblue.co.uk within 14 days to request a return.
- Follow our return instructions and ship the items to the address provided.
- You are responsible for reasonable return shipping costs, unless the product is faulty, damaged in transit, or misdescribed.
- We can arrange return collection on your behalf, with any pre-arranged collection fees deducted from your refund.
Customer Responsibility:
Ensure items are packaged safely for return to prevent damage in transit.
Retain proof of postage until your return is processed and confirmed.
9. Warranty
Statutory Rights:
All products comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
You are entitled to repair, replacement, or refund if a product is faulty, damaged, or misdescribed.
Manufacturer Warranties:
Where applicable, products may include manufacturer warranties of up to 1 year.
Manufacturer warranties cover material or manufacturing defects only and do not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, or normal wear and tear.
Faulty or Misdescribed Products:
If a product is faulty or misdescribed, you must contact Bali & Blue promptly.
You will need to provide proof of purchase and, where applicable, photographic evidence of the defect or issue.
Bali & Blue will arrange for repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion.
Exclusions and Limitations:
- The warranty does not cover minor variations in colour, grain, size, or texture.
- Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, negligence, or failure to follow care instructions is not covered.
- Consequential or incidental losses arising from faulty products are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. Made-to-Order / Custom Items
Product Variations:
- Custom and made-to-order products may vary slightly from images, illustrations, or descriptions.
- Minor variations in colour, grain, size, or finish are not considered defects.
- Handmade and natural materials may feature small imperfections or variations, which are normal and not considered faults.
- Dimensions of handmade products may vary by ±4 cm.
Manufacturing and Delivery Times:
All manufacturing and delivery times are estimates only and provided as a guide.
Delivery and production may be affected by factors beyond our control, including supplier delays, transport disruptions, customs clearance, strikes, war, or other force majeure events.
Bali & Blue is not liable for any delays, but we will provide as much notice as reasonably possible if we become aware of them.
Customers are responsible for ensuring accurate and regularly checked contact details so we can notify you of any delays.
Cancellations and Returns:
Made-to-order items are non-transferable and cannot be cancelled once production has commenced, except as required by your statutory rights.
Once production has started, modifications, cancellations, or substitutions may not be possible.
Returns are only accepted if items are faulty, damaged in transit, or misdescribed, in accordance with Clause 9 (Warranty) and statutory rights.
Customer Responsibility:
Customers are responsible for ensuring that dimensions, style, finishes, and specifications of made-to-order products are suitable for their intended space and use.
Any additional requests, bespoke specifications, or custom finishes may incur extra costs and additional lead times.
Acknowledgement:
By ordering made-to-order products, you acknowledge and accept these conditions, including the non-cancellable nature of production, potential delays, and minor product variations.
11. Electrical Products
Lighting products must be installed by a qualified electrician.
We are not liable for improper installation or incompatibility with existing electrical systems.
12. Product Descriptions and Errors
Product images, descriptions, dimensions, and colours are for guidance only.
Minor variations in materials, dimensions, or finishes are normal for handmade items.
We reserve the right to correct pricing, typographical, or product description errors at any time, even after an order is placed.
13. Intellectual Property
All website content — text, images, graphics, videos, designs, logos, and product listings — is owned by Bali & Blue or our licensors.
Reproduction, distribution, or modification without written permission is prohibited.
14. Customer Feedback / Reviews
By submitting feedback, reviews, or suggestions, you grant Bali & Blue a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, and publish such feedback.
You confirm that submissions are original and do not infringe third-party rights.
15. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the Services to:
- Violate UK or international law
- Harass, defame, or harm others
- Use automated bots, scraping tools, or AI agents without permission
- Upload viruses, malware, or harmful content
16. Third-Party Links
Services may link to third-party sites.
We are not responsible for third-party content, products, or services.
Transactions with third-party sites are at your own risk.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Bali & Blue is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses
- Delays, damages, or losses caused by third-party delivery or service providers
- Minor variations in product appearance or materials
Liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence is not limited.
18. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bali & Blue, our affiliates, and service providers from claims or losses arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms
- Your violation of applicable law
- Your misuse of the Services or products
19. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Supplier issues
- Transport disruptions
- Natural disasters
- Government actions
20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by UK law.
Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
21. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our website. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
